NiuBridge & NiuDeck products are designed in accordance with the Austroads Bridge Design Code and the Australian Standard AS5100 Bridge Design. The AS5100 standard provides design loads for projected increases in legal loads to make sure that the bridges we are building now can carry road and rail traffic well into the future.  NiuBridge products incorporate key advances in both processing and preservation treatment into the design which underpin the product’s warranty.

As part of our commitment to quality, NiuBridge system testing and certification is undertaken by University of Technology Sydney which includes full scale destructive testing.

The tests results confirm that the both NiuBridge Modules and NiuDeck meet and exceed the ULS requirements of both T44 and S1600 loading conditions.

Quality

PNG Forest Products Engineered Wood Products are certified by the Engineered Wood Products Association of Australasia (EWPAA) and carry the EWPAA JAS-ANZ brand. The EWPAA provides a third party certification scheme that is accredited by the peak accreditation body JAS-ANZ. This means that any product branded with the EWPAA JAS-ANZ brand has been manufactured under an accredited third party audited, process based quality control program that ensures the product is fit for purpose.

PNGFP has achieved PEFC Chain of Custody accreditation on the basis of 100% controlled wood. PEFC promotes a Chain of Custody system that tracks the wood source to the final product, ensuring that the wood contained in the product originates from legal, non-controversial and socially responsible sources demonstrating a strong commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility.

PNGFP‘s PEFC Chain of Custody certification demonstrates a commitment to sustainable forest management that is unique in PNG.  We work in conjunction with the PNG Department of Environment and Conservation (DEC) to ensure that the highest standards and best environmental practice are maintained at all times. PNGFP’s environmental practices are audited every year and DEC conducts annual inspections as part of our operating permit conditions.
